Transport and handicapped passengers
A great number of barrier-free crossings for people on wheelchairs and for the blind, also assisted by sound signalling systems at crossroads equipped with traffic lights, have been built in Pardubice. Since September 2004 guaranteed city transportation routes of serviced by low-floor buses and trolleybuses (indicated in time tables) have been operated in the town.

Transport of handicapped passengers
Transport of handicapped passengers in a specially modified car operated by the Public Transportation Company of the City of Pardubice.
This special mode of transportation is available for:
- Disabled people who don’t own a motor vehicle or who are not able to own a vehicle due to health reasons, or unfavourable climatic conditions, or due to their vehicle being under repair
- all disabled pass holders, people having to rely on use of an orthopaedic wheelchair are treated preferentially
- citizens who become immobile for a short period of time owing to injury or illness.
